Beginners – Delft Method – Groene boek-a

Would you like to take your Dutch language skills to A2- level in ten weeks? It’s possible! This unique, intensive course is based on the Delft method, an effective method for learning a new language quickly, developed by the Delft University of Technology. In this fast course, you will learn to introduce yourself, talk about your work and hobbies, order meals in restaurants, and much more. The lessons are interactive and challenge students to speak, participate actively and have fun while learning. This is an intensive course that will cost you about 10 hours per week. At the end of the first five weeks, you will already have mastered the 1000 most frequently used words of the Dutch language!

This course is for you if you have little to no knowledge of Dutch. English is required. You will immerse yourself full-time into learning Dutch for ten weeks in a small group led by an enthusiastic, qualified teacher. The main focus will be on learning how to use the language quickly and effectively in your daily life and work.

Please note: The introduction class can be attended on Thursday or Friday before the beginning of the course. You will already have to make homework in the weekend before the first class. The final test takes place in the week after the last class.

This course is taught using the book Delftse methode – Nederlands voor buitenlanders and will cover the first half of the book. If you like the course and want to continue, you can take the next course, called Beginners – Delft Method – Groene boek-b.
