Beginners plus – Groene boek-b – hybrid weekend course

Would you like to take your Dutch language skills from A2-  level to A2 level in just 8 weeks? It’s possible! This unique, very intensive course is based on the Delft method, an effective method for learning a new language quickly, developed by the Delft University of Technology. In this fast course, you will learn to introduce yourself, talk about your work and hobbies, order meals in restaurants, and much more. The lessons are interactive and challenge students to speak, participate actively and have fun while learning. At the end of the course, you will already have mastered the 2000 most frequently used words of the Dutch language!

This course is for you if you have already studied Dutch before and have almost A2 level. English is required. You have an online conversation lesson once a week for an hour. At the beginning, in the middle and at the end of the course, you will have three intensive weekends in our classroom. On Saturday and Sunday, you have 2 lessons: at 11:30 AM and at 15:30 PM. By studying a text very carefully you prepare yourself for the conversation lesson and in the conversation lesson you speak with your teacher and your fellow students about the subject of the text.

Please note: The introduction class can be attended on Thursday or Friday before the beginning of the course. You will already have to make homework in the week before the first class. The final test takes place in the week after the last class.

This course is taught using the book Delftse methode – Nederlands voor buitenlanders and will cover the second half of the book. If you like the course and want to continue, you can take the next course, called Intermediate – Delft Method – Tweede Ronde-b.
