Edo Harries studied Dutch at the University of Amsterdam and is qualified to teach secondary schools and Dutch as a second language. Edo has been employed as a teacher at the Blaise Pascal College in Zaandam since 2007. He joined NedLes in 2018.
Edo’s mission is accomplished if at the end of the lesson his students are able or have the courage to make use of the things they have learned. He also makes it a habit to get students to laugh.
For Edo, the best part of teaching non-native speakers of Dutch is getting see his language through the eyes of his students. They widen his horizons far beyond the borders of the Dutch language.
Apart from teaching and the Dutch language, Edo loves reading, films, visiting museums and making music.
