I am Eva, and I am interested in people, languages and cultures. This led to a study in French with minors in sociology and religion studies.
After a number of years of teaching Dutch at various language schools and at an ISK (internationale schakelklas), I decided to obtain a certificate for this. I enjoy teaching both young people and adults. The variety keeps me sharp and allows me to experiment in different ways in class.
I know from experience that it can be difficult to learn a new language in a foreign country. This experience helps me to be more sensitive to how students may feel when learning the Dutch language. This also enables me to create the atmosphere in which everyone feels safe.
