Ingrid Goesinnen studied English in Utrecht and obtained a degree in teaching Dutch as a second language in Amsterdam. She has almost two decades of experience as an NT2 teacher. Ingrid also worked as a coach for the Dutch Council for Refugees and as a civic integration adviser.
Ingrid joined NedLes in 2019 and her main responsibility is teaching the Orientation on the Dutch Labour Market (ONA) course. As an experienced teacher, she feels confident teaching Dutch to non-native speakers of all levels, from low-level students to highly skilled professionals.
Ingrid is also an assessor for the speaking and writing components of the State Exams NT2. To maximise her students’ learning, she uses the latest teaching methods and techniques. She also teaches online classes to those who want to learn Dutch remotely. She does have a preference for face-to-face learning though. After all, learning a language is all about communication. Meeting up and interacting with people inside or outside school is therefore more effective than learning by yourself at home. Ingrid’s teaching style is interactive, with lots of opportunities for group learning.
