Jojanneke has been interested in languages her whole life: as a child, she even read dictionaries!
It’s therefore no surprise that she went to study Language and Communication, followed by a masters Linguistics at the UvA. During her bachelors, she followed a minor Spanish and studied in Granada, Spain for a semester. She’s been teaching since 2016 at the Hogeschool and since 2018 as a NT2-teacher: the best job in the world!
Jojanneke loved foreign languages and different people and cultures. It’s important to her that everyone can tell their stories. In her classes, there will be many (linguistic) jokes, but of course the focus lies on learning Dutch as well as possible.
In her free time, Jojanneke loves to travel, cook (and eat!), taking care of her plants and drinking beers in the sun.
