Marie-Christine loves languages. She studied French and Spanish Translation Studies at the UvA. After working as a translator for ten years, she also wanted to turn outward and work with people instead of books. Now she has been an NT2 teacher for about 10 years. Teaching gives her an open view of the world: it is often surprising and always enriching what you learn from people from other cultures around the world. Good contact with the students comes first for her. She also always ensures that her lessons are varied and that there is a lot of laughter.
In her spare time, Marie-Christine enjoys reading, yoga and gardening.
