Would you like to take your Dutch language skills to A2- level in just two weeks? It’s possible! This unique, intensive course is based on the Delft method , an effective method for learning a new language quickly, developed by the Delft University of Technology.
Courses using the Delft Method at NedLes come in different intensities. This two-week crash course is very intensive, with two classes per day, five days a week. On the afternoon of the first Friday, we’ve scheduled a fun and tasty extracurricular activity that will help you get to know your fellow students and experience Dutch culture more closely. With around three hours of preparation time for each class, you can imagine this is an intensive course! You will be busy with Dutch the entire day and during the weekend. You won’t have time or energy for other work or social activities during these two weeks. However, your hard work will be rewarded with massive progress in your Dutch speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills!
Each morning and afternoon, you will have a one-hour conversation class, based on a text you study extensively beforehand. Between and after your classes, you’ll have time to study—either at our school or at home. Most students prefer to stay at our school after the morning class to prepare for the second class of the day, maintaining focus while also connecting with teachers and classmates.
This course is suitable for you if you can already speak a little Dutch and form sentences on your own. You can use the past tense and know around a thousand words before starting this course. You will fully immerse yourself in improving your Dutch for ten working days in a small group, guided by an enthusiastic, qualified teacher. The focus is on learning to use the language quickly and effectively in your daily life and work.
Please note: The introduction class can be attended on Thursday or Friday before the beginning of the course. You will already have to make homework in the weekend before the first class. The final test takes place in the week after the last class.
